Legendary American actor and martial artist Chuck Norris has passed away at the age of 86, his family confirmed on March 20, 2026.
According to a statement shared via social media, Norris died peacefully on the morning of March 19, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. His family described his passing as sudden, noting that he remained in the company of those closest to him until his final moments.
“With heavy hearts, we share that Chuck Norris passed away unexpectedly yesterday morning,” the statement read. “He was surrounded by family and passed peacefully.”
Norris rose to global fame as a martial artist and actor, becoming one of Hollywood’s most recognizable action stars.
He is best known for his roles in classic films such as The Delta Force (1986), Missing in Action (1984), and Invasion U.S.A. (1985), which cemented his legacy in the action genre.
