Rwanda Football Federation, FERWAFA has appointed referee Patience Rulisa to offiiate the final, assisted by Didier Ishimwe and Eric Mugabo, while David Kayitare will serve as fourth official. The decision has drawn attention due to the enormous pressure usually ahead of one of the fiercest fixtures in Rwandan football. 

APR booked their place in the final after thrashing Etincelles 6-2 on aggregate in the semifinals, while Rayon Sports beat Gorilla FC on away goals following a tense 1-1 aggregate draw. APR currently has the advantage after beating Rayon 2-0 in last year’s Peace Cup final at the same stadium. 

Amahoro Stadium is expected to be filled with thousands of fans ahead of the  "1000 Hills Derby", Can APR FC do a two-peat on their rivals or Rayon Sports can add another cup in their collection ?
