Minister Nduhungirehe Delivered President Kagame’s Message to King Mohammed VI of Morocco
In Rabat, Morocco, Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe, yesterday held bilateral talks with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, during which he delivered a special message from President Paul Kagame to His Majesty Mohammed VI.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Rwanda and the Morocco, reflecting the growing ties and strategic partnership between the two nations.
In his message, President Kagame requested Morocco’s support for the candidature of Louise Mushikiwabo for another term as Secretary General of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie.
The election is scheduled to take place during the Francophonie Summit set for 14–16 November 2026 in Siem Reap.
The discussions in Rabat further underscored the strong diplomatic relations between Rwanda and Morocco, as both countries continue to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest while coordinating closely on regional and international matters.
